The Job

Thunder is looking for a scrappy, experienced AdTech professional to join our growing operations team in Portland, Oregon. Candidates should be nimble problem solvers with a strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.

At Thunder, you will work with internal and external stakeholders - account managers, ad agencies, and clients to understand campaign strategy and goals, translate these needs into actionable tasks, and implement them in the Thunder Experience Cloud console to meet or exceed campaign KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in implementing and managing ad serving and dynamic creative optimization (DCO) campaigns in the Thunder Experience Cloud
  • Jump on Client-Facing communications, being a main point-person for technical troubleshooting, coordination, and resolution
  • Work cross-functionally with ad operations, engineering, and product management to ensure campaign needs or gaps are addressed
  • Be a voice and thought-leader within the organization - provide feedback and help us develop even better tools and technology

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a digital media operations - campaign management, ad operations, or implementation
  • Experience trafficking, managing and/or optimizing within DSPs, SSPs, or AdServers
  • Running and Analyzing custom reports for Campaign Delivery and Performance
  • Understanding of Conversion Attribution methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced ability with Google Sheets / Excel
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript - especially related to AdTags and Pixels
  • Quick learner - able to rapidly acquire and apply technical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, juggling many priorities, in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a team
